Important Announcements

The primary goal of Williamson 4-H Shotgun Sports Club is to provide human growth and development to youth between 8 and 18 years of age.  Introducing safe and responsible use of firearms and provide valuable vocational and lifelong recreational opportunities.

Approximately 45 percent of the homes in the United States have firearms.  We not only promote the highest standards of safety, sportsmanship and ethical behavior but we strengthen families through life-long recreational activities.

Shooting is the third most popular international competitive sport.  It is unique in that athletes can remain competitive throughout their lifetimes as individuals or as a team.  Shotgun Sports attract new audiences to 4-H and create bonds between adults and youth.

Our shotgun group currently consists of 25 active members who practice on a weekly basis.  Every youth has at least one parent who volunteers with the program to make it a success.  We practice here in Williamson County with equipment received through grants and fundraising. Each shooter shoots at least 50 targets per practice.  Many members travel around the state to represent our county in competion.

Williamson 4-H Shotgun Sports Club is a 501 (c) 3 Non Profit Organization.
